Welcome to Timberside Farms. My name is David Lynn. My brother, Jeremy, and I have
two small hobby farms here in beautiful Southeast Iowa. Here at Timberside Farms we
raise several different Heritage breeds of animals including Myotonic goats, also known
as Fainting goats, Scottish Highland cattle and Dexter cattle. We also have a few Pygmy
goats, Boer goats, and a few other breeds of miniature cattle.
The little barn pictured above started out being a chicken house for our beloved Bantam
chickens and miniature horse. Since we built it in 2005 we have added a lot of goats and
a few head of cattle. In the spring of 2008 we are planning on more than doubling the size
of the barn to more accommodate our growing herd of goats and cattle.
